Salesforce reporting - the basics

This course will be held online (zoom) and lasts for 3 hours (with a 15 minute break)

At the end of this session you will have learnt how to:

• Create a list view, add the columns you need, filter the view and manage 'in-line' editing

• Build a new report from scratch

• Add report filters

• Add columns to your reports

• Group your columns and summarise columns (e.g. by total value/ average value etc)

• Add a chart to your report

• Build a simple dashboard

• Export report data and understand the different format options

• Schedule a report for yourself or a colleague

Before the course starts I will send you an email with a login to a test version of Salesforce which you will use during the training. This will allow you to mess about as much as you like without affecting the data in your own live system. You will have access to this test version of Salesforce for 30 days after the course ends.

We will be using the Salesforce 'Lightning' interface. If your organisation is still using Salesforce 'Classic' then please contact me to be added to a waiting list for a Classic reports training.
